Rules of Cuju

Original Description
In a cuju match, the goalposts were situated in the center of the field and the two teams stood on either side of the goal. A two-foot-tall so-called "eye" was placed in the middle of the goal. The objective was for the teams to kick the ball through the “eye” without it touching the ground. The team that managed this the most times was declared the winner.
