Nan Madol, a megalithic stone city compromised of 58 artificial islet connected by canals in Pohnpei island (now in Federates States of Micronesia) built during Saudeuleur dynasty (+- 1100 - 1628 CE). The city of Nan Mdol (meaning in the space betweens) was an example of austronesian great engineering and architectural skill unparalled in the world. Built by big volcanic basalt rock transported through raft from the main island to be constructed upon artificial islet on top of a reef. The city was inseparable from Saudeuleur dynatsty who establish their empire encompassing nowadays micronesia, compromising of various ethnic group of pohnpeians, kosraean, yaps and chuuk.
